Howard Lederer grew up in a family of 5 in which he loved betting on numerous card games when he was young. Howard Lederer also helped his sibling Annie Duke learn the game of poker. He headed to Las Vegas in 1993 and played cash games for the next 10 years. When the WPT gained popularity, he decided to play more tournaments.
