Online poker has become world celebrated lately, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, stretches back quite a bit further than its television ratings. Over the years numerous variations on the first poker game have been developed, including some games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling 21 than long-standing poker, in that the players bet against the house rather than the other players. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no conniving or different kinds of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up just before the dealer declares "No further bets." At that point, both you and the house and of course every one of the other gamblers are given 5 cards each. After you have seen your hand and the dealer’s 1st card, you have to either make a call bet or bow out. The call bet’s amount is equal to your beginning ante, which means that the stakes will have doubled. Abandoning means that your wager goes instantaneously to the bank. After the bet comes the conclusion. If the casino does not have ace/king or better, your wager is given back, with an amount on par with the original wager. If the house does have ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand beats the casino’s hand. The casino pays cash equal to your ante and fixed odds on your call bet. These expectations are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- two to one for two pairs
- 3-1 for three of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- twenty to one for a four of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
