Howard Lederer lived in a family of 5 in which he enjoyed betting on different card games at a young age. Howard also assisted his sister Annie Duke master the game of poker. Annie was an excellent student of the game as she constantly asked questions about the right way to make the proper choice. Howard Lederer told Annie Duke to head out to Vegas and play in the World Series of Poker competition. Annie Duke is one of the strongest women players the poker arena today. Howard Lederer relocated to Las Vegas in Nineteen Ninety Three and played cash games for the successive decade. When the WPT gained popularity, he decided to play more tournaments.
