1 Plus 2 Equals 3: A Poker Competitor’s Worth is Judged by His or Her Bottom Line

A few poker techniques will amaze you with their simplicity. This is 1 of them. Jot down your outcomes, every time you play.

Church of Texas Holdem Verse #four:

You have to write down thy successes and thy loses; for it’s the total of all a mans accomplishments which generate his or her basis.

How detailed is your decision. I tend to believe that hourly info and that kind of intimate detail is wasted. Simply work out how much in front you are and how much (if any) you’ve taken out. Of course, if you don’t win, note that too, no matter how much it hurts.

Do not omit to note what sort of poker you’re competing in, if that’s imperative to you. (In my experience, most gamblers hold to what they understand and don’t experiment. If all you write down is winnings, down and withdrawals, you are way ahead of most players out there!)

Give yourself realistic goals, like a ‘dream’ goal (new vehicle, get-a-way or anything else). When you withdraw, add the money taken out to your dream counter. The more prosperous you are, the nearer that goal will be!
