I’m certain just about anyone who has played texas hold’em poker in a place where they serve alcohol consumption has had this encounter at one time or another. Everyone at the table was actually nice with the exception of for Mr. I’m all in since I am drunk. He had such a negative frame of mind and I felt like I was on the web wagering in a freeroll for a moment because he would just maintain going all in. He would sometimes just call a bet. Each time he would just call, I knew he had a terrible hand.
So, when it was my turn to call, I would raise with my good pocket pairs or my ace something. Each time he remained in a hand all the way to the river and then try to bluff. It was virtually as if he needed to share his cash.
I played at that particular table for no less than 3 hours and I counted a minimum of four times the man went to the Automatic Teller Machine and came back with at least two hundred dollars in chips. I would say I almost certainly got a minimum of half of what he brought to the table.
The next day, after I got house and counted my winnings, I kind of felt bad for winning all that cash. But then again, that man ought not to have been betting texas hold em poker even though he was drunk!
Several individuals might say that if I have to question my activities, then yes, it almost certainly was not the correct thing to do. Except, do I feel undesirable about it, not actually.
My thoughts and opinions on taking a drunken person’s cash at the poker table is that if they are idiotic enough to wager on though drunk and is being reckless, then have at it!
