Horrible Fortune in Poker

[ English | Deutsch | Español | Français | Italiano ]

For a match where the majority of participants occasionally consider luck, there are tons of folklore in poker. When you mention that an individual was fortunate in that poker tournament they captured, be mindful of how you mention it. For example, if you say that you were unfortunate, your luck may not change.

Ok, that might appear to be a bit strange, but poker is a casino game armed with folklores. Did you realize that if you’re betting a game with 2 seperate decks and you’re asked to choose the deck, you should always choose the deck that is furthest from you? Or, how about If you have a streak of poor cards, you have to hang out on a hankerchief to break your horrible luck? It’s actually thought of as good fortune to blow through a pack of cards when they’re being randomized.

Some other fascinating poker superstitions are:

  • You might be able to change the run of cards by passing around your chair three times.
  • The most beneficial chair at the poker table looks at the door.
  • The most detrimental seat has its rear to a fireplace.
  • When switching spots, you need to always do so following the clock.
  • The most detrimental poker card is the four of clubs.
  • It is very unlucky to cross your legs when sitting at the poker table.
  • Sunday is a horrible day for gambling on cards.
  • The 13th is also a bad day, despite when it falls.
